An organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing

the lives of others through volunteer service.

The fiscal year as approved by the IRS is July 1 through June 30th.

​Membership Information for New Members

Member Expecations​

 

  • Annual membership dues are $50.  Dues include membership in GFWC-Wyoming and GFWC International.

    • A name badge is an additional cost of $12.50.​

 

  • A member is encouraged to attend as many monthly General Membership Luncheon Meetings as possible from September through May. They are held on the second Wednesday of the month from 11:30a.m. to approximately 2:00p.m.

  • Members are required to participate in at least one community service program committee (listed below).

  • A member is expected to meet member requirements for the annual Christmas House.

Christmas House Requirements for New Members

 

  • Provide one or more handcrafted items with an approximated total sale value of $30.00

  • Provide home -baked items for the Christmas House Kitchen

  • Provide a home-baked item for the Christmas House Tea Room

  • Purchase a member ticket package

  • Participate in Christmas House workshops

  • Work during the Christmas House (includes new members as Bootie Elves) or work in the Tea Room

    • Areas of Christmas House in which you may be interested in working:​

      • Christmas House set-up                   ​

      • Christmas House ticket sales

      • Raffle ticket sales

      • Tea Room

      • Cashiering

      • Hostessing 

      • Room Monitoring

      • Clean-up

  • Ladies’ Marathon Bridge (once a month)

  • Mahjong (a tile-matching game)
